Last Summer

Have you ever smelt summer?
Sure you have.
Could you smell the salt from the
sea?  
Remember that time when we were swimming at the  beach and getting the salty air that was summer

When we were walking on the rocks and
Remember that time when we went fishing and saw a school of kawhai go past 
That was summer

Remember that time when you were driving us down to the river and you stopped at a creek to have a quick jump in?
That was summer.
